As mentioned in class, we shall be looking at 'Current Trends' next week and how to discuss them. In particular we will be looking at trends in relation to the family and fashion.
In order to get "warmed-up" for the class, I'd like you to:
(i) do the exercise on page 36 of the text book[this should take you about a minute!!]
(ii) write down on a list the words you know that could be used in discussing trends - whether they be related to family life, fashion or any topic.
Among the example on page 36 for example are:
majority,
percent,
doubled,
tripled,
quadrupled,
twice
