This week's song of the week is Games People Play - a song written by singer Joe South. Besides South's recordings, other artists have also recorded the song, including Jerry Lee Lewis, Tesla (on their album Bust a Nut), The Georgia Satellites (on their album In the Land of Salvation and Sin) and Bill Haley & His Comets. In Singapore around 1969, an instrumental version showed up on a single by The White Crane Orchestra. The reggae band Inner Circle also released a cover version, which was quite popular in Europe for a while in the mid-90s.
